The Challenge
A booking flow built for forms, not patients
Medikare runs 18 clinics across Delhi NCR. Their site loaded in 8.4 seconds on 4G, the booking flow required 6 steps and a login, and only 11% of visitors who opened it completed a booking. Local SEO rankings were invisible for every clinic except the flagship.
Our Solution
A fast, WCAG-AA site with a 2-step booking flow
We rebuilt the marketing site on a headless stack with sub-2-second page loads, shipped location pages for each of the 18 clinics with schema.org MedicalClinic markup, and simplified booking to name, phone, and slot. A WhatsApp fallback reduced the drop-off on Android.
How We Approached It
Discovery and patient journey mapping
We shadowed bookings across 4 clinics and interviewed 22 patients. Findings drove the 2-step booking flow and the WhatsApp fallback decision.
Design system and location template
A Figma system produced 40 reusable components and one location template. 18 clinic pages launched from a single content model.
Build and accessibility pass
Next.js front-end with ISR caching hit sub-2-second loads. Every page passed WCAG-AA for colour, focus order, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader labels.
Local SEO and migration
Google Business Profile was completed for all 18 clinics. 410 legacy URLs were 301-redirected without traffic loss. Rankings recovered in 18 days.
