Duration
16 weeks
A founder deadline and two platforms
- Product discovery and feature scoping workshop
- Figma design system with Swift and Compose tokens
- UPI and PAN verification integration via RazorpayX
- TestFlight beta programme for 400 early users
- App Store and Play Store compliance sign-off
The Challenge
A founder deadline and two platforms
Paise needed to launch a UPI-linked personal finance app before their seed runway ended. A single team, no existing codebase, and a target feature list of spend tracking, bill reminders, goal buckets, and PAN-verified sign-up. App Store and Play Store compliance was non-negotiable.
Our Solution
A shared design system and a staged release plan
We built a single Figma design system consumed by Swift and Jetpack Compose, used RazorpayX for PAN verification and UPI rails, and shipped a TestFlight beta in week 8 to 400 early users. Crashlytics-driven tight iteration got us to 1-click App Store approval on week 15.
How We Approached It
Product scoping sprint
A 5-day sprint with founders locked the MVP at spend tracking, bill reminders, goal buckets, and PAN-verified sign-up. Out-of-scope features were listed for v1.1.
Design system in Figma
Shared tokens for colour, type, spacing, and motion drove parity across iOS and Android. 38 screens in production by week 4.
Parallel iOS and Android builds
Swift and Jetpack Compose teams shipped weekly. UPI and PAN verification via RazorpayX was integrated behind a feature flag by week 10.
Beta, iteration, launch
TestFlight and Play Internal Testing with 400 users produced 180 Crashlytics-driven fixes. Both stores approved on first submission in week 15.
Results Delivered
"Charya shipped what a Series A team would take 8 months to build. We went from Figma to App Store in four months."
